Pussykat Tattoo
So you’re in Las Vegas and your thinking about getting a tattoo. There are a lot of places on the Las Vegas strip to get ink done but what kind of work can you expect to get their? Chances are that the tattoo artists are not too experienced and on top of the look at their prices!!! Anything on the Las Vegas strip cost more us locals call it a tourist tax.
Ok so now you get the picture, you need to find a place close to the strip with good artist and good prices. Also you want a classy and clean place we all know the places that are run down dirty hole in the wall tattoo parlors. You don’t want to get a tattoo there let alone sit down in those chairs.
Here is our recommendation Pussykat Tattoo Company located on Maryland parkway just a 3 minute cab ride from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. When I was looking at where to get my next tattoo I asked everyone I knew and saw that had one (I liked) where they got it, how much it was, and if they recommend them. I had a lot of people say Pussykat. So I did my research and looked them up. They have been in business since 1999 and owned by the legendary Dirk Vermin. If you don’t know who he is Google The Vermin and you will soon find out. A legend in the Punk scene, he has played with just about every great punk band, except the Sex Pistols.
But that alone was not good enough for me, I needed to see work that they have done and check the place out for myself. So I went down and looked around, the place is laid out with a punk-shui look to it and made me feel comfortable. The place was clean and well maintained. I looked at their artists works and was pleasantly surprised, really nice coloring and shading. So I decided to get one done from the man himself Dirk Vermin.
The colors came out really well as did the whole thing. So now I have done the research for you and recommend the Pussykat Tattoo Company. Mention thatPrism Nightlifesent you too get %10 off your next tattoo.

Interview with UFC Fighter Dave Kaplan 5.19.09
Brad Binko: Well we’re herePrism NightlifeBrad Binko doing an interview with and Diamond Dave Kaplan, the man himself. So it looks like you got a little shiner on the nose already there.
Dave Kaplan: I do, it always happens right before the fight like the week before you train, three months no problem and then always, but it wont be a problem for the fight.
Brad Binko: So your previous fight experience you trained over in Brazil and now I know you have been training over here in Las Vegas so what are the main differences you’ve seen in this change.
Dave Kaplan: The people are different the weather is different I train at extreme couture awesome guys and its easy to be successful when your training with 8 other quality guys your training with everyday so I would say the quality level for any fighter is better in Las Vegas
Brad Binko: So how long have you been out here?
Dave Kaplan: I moved out here in October so 7 months I’ve been living here.
Brad Binko: Do you visit the nightclubs at all?
Dave Kaplan: Every once and a while when I’m not training, when I’m not getting ready for something
Brad Binko: Well everyone has a crazy Las Vegas story and we want to hear yours
Dave Kaplan: Well, ones that I can tell, I say this when I was signing things downstairs today it was brought to my attention that more people know about it then last time but after my last fight at the palms I had a really good after party and I decided it would be a good idea to run up and down the hotel floor naked eating peoples food from room service. And then its gets better the next morning a couple of the UFC guys came to my room and woke me up and said you gotta get out of here and I said why do I have an interview or something. And he said no you slept in someone else’s room last night so I looked around and there was only 1 bed and my room had 2 beds so I guess someone let me in and I passed out and they left so yea I don’t know, hopefully ill make it back to my room at the MGM grand this time but I don’t know I’m not making any promises.
Brad Binko: Well we are looking forward to your after party at Hawaiian Tropic Zone this Saturday.
So how does it compare or feel to fight someone that you know so well and are friends with?
Dave Kaplan: You know I get asked that question I’ve probably answered that question 20 times already. We’re professionals so really makes no difference. I don’t fight emotional anyways some people will have a grudge match and find strength in that or maybe find it difficult. I like George he’s awesome he’s going to be down at Hawaiian Tropic Zone also I think for the after fight party so we will defiantly have a beer together. So I can say this is a fight that we are both looking forward to and I can say because of knowing George its an advantage and a dis-advantage because he knows what I’m gonna do and I know what he’s gonna do. Both good and bad but he’s a very tough guy and you need two tough guys to make a good fight. Sometimes you look across the ring or cage and you know the guys gonna quit half way through the match but I know George is not gonna quit and I’m not gonna quit and both of us will defiantly try to get the fight of the night honors 50 or 60 grand is nice so I’m looking forward to it and I don’t think its gonna make a difference.
Brad Binko: The last time that you won 50 grand you were doing a little singing but I don’t want to talk about the singing I wanna talk about the dancing. Are you gonna be doing a little dancing coming out this time?
Dave Kaplan: Lets just say this. I kinda thought the sprinkler needed to make a come back number 1. My entrance for this fight is going to be even better then last fight. I don’t read a lot of stuff on the internet because it’s usually garbage and I don’t need to get even more depressed or suicidal but I will say the one thing that a lot of people talked about was how awesome the entrance was and they are comparing it to someone like Akihiro Gono’s entrances and you can't even make those comparisons because his are a lot more…. he has been able to do a lot more then I have been able to do at the finale. I wasn’t able to wear a costume or this or that. I will be wearing a costume for this entrance it’s gonna be awesome that’s all I can say. Defiantly be at the fight to see this.
Brad Binko: So are we thinking more of a big bird costume or what?
Dave Kaplan: No, no its not a funny costume I’ll tell you this much half the people in the arena are gonna look at me and be like who’s he suppose to be and the other half are gonna be like wow that’s awesome and their gonna know right off the bat. It s a movie character I can tell you from a 80s movie but it’s in the vein of fighting. So I’m not coming out with Screech or Ferris Bueller outfit or something like that, and it will go with the song and it has a very good …well it goes along with fighting there are a lot of parallels between UFC and it.
Brad Binko: Well we will be looking forward to that. How do you want to beat George for this fight?
Dave Kaplan: I wanna knock him out, I wanna knock out everyone every time I fight that’s what I go for. I use my wrestling moves to keep me on my feet. He said he’s gonna knock me out or submit me and ill be interested to see how hes gonna do that. But yea I want him to be unconscious at the end of the fight and ill wake him up and make sure he’s ok. I’m always trying to get fight of the night that would be nice, knock out would be better.
Brad Binko: No one knocks out Diamond David Kaplan.
Dave Kaplan: Can't get knocked out, that’s right, so sorry George you can't get knock out of the night, you can still go for submission of the night
Brad Binko: There you go, so are you giving a guarantee to win this fight?
Dave Kaplan: This is what I have to say about that you can never predict the outcome of a fight till its over in UFC, but this is not a fight that I can afford to lose so my backs against the wall. I have no where to go but forward so I don’t have any other option and I want to stay in UFC, I’m not ready to go home.
Brad Binko: Well everyone is looking forward to UFC 98, Diamond Dave Kaplan after party at Hawaiian Tropic Zone, Prism Nightlife.
Dave Kaplan: Come early cause I’m not gonna be sober for very long,
Brad Binko: You’ll be running around naked, watch out ladies leave your man at home.
Dave Kaplan: If I offend you that’s not my intentions; well some of you it might be.
Brad Binko: Well we appreciate you taking time out of you night, thank you.
Dave Kaplan: Thank you Prism Nightlife, Thank you Brad.
