On Tuesday July 28th 2009 the infamous Las Vegas Hip Hop Club closed its doors of their Caesar’s Forum Shoppes location until they finalize a new deal somewhere on or close to the Strip. The ongoing dispute with the property management group that holds the lease forPoetryand Wolfgang Puck’s Chinois Restaurant (which closed earlier during the week) was rumored to be cause of the decision to close up shop and look for other venue locations.
July 2nd, 2009 was a big day for PoetryNightclubat the Forum Shops of Caesars (formally OPM Nightclub) as they celebrated their 6 year anniversary party. High lighted by a live performance by E-40.
The place was as busy as I have ever seen it for a Thursday Night, they had sold out of tables for the night and at 12:30 there was still a long line downstairs waiting to get in. The DJ played a lot of old school music and of course a lot of the late Michael Jackson.
By the time that E-40 went on the place was shoulder to shoulder and the vibe was good. E-40 did a couple of songs off his new CD and got the place jumping.
All and all it was a good night and a great start for the busy weekend ahead as the club hosted many other celebrities who were in town for the 4th festivities.

Finally I got a chance to get down to Beso and try out their food and wine selections. Immediately upon arriving I realized this isn’t your typical Las Vegas Restaurant, the flow of the room was relaxing and the colors made you feel right at home not to mention the great view of the entrance of City Center.

The Hard Rock Hotel is making more changes to its nightlife landscape, with sources close to the situation confirming rumors that Wasted Space, the Carey Hart co-owned club that just celebrated its two-year anniversary, will be closing to make way for a new sports book.
